Product description
Authentic lot of two small traditional beer steins made of enameled stoneware from West Germany. These high-quality pieces feature a superb hand-painted bas-relief decoration, depicting characters in traditional costumes seated at a table in a Bavarian tavern. The central scene is beautifully framed by friezes of edelweiss flowers in relief on a deep forest green background, contrasting with the natural beige hue of the stoneware. The classic truncated cone shape is accompanied by a robust handle ensuring a perfect grip. A charming duo, ideal for completing a stein collection, decorating a bar, or adding a vintage and folkloric bistro touch to your decor. Origin: West Germany (Höhr-Grenzhausen) Period: Circa 1970 / 1980 Capacity: 1/4 L per stein Dimensions: 10 cm x 6 cm (diameter at the rim) Height: 11 cm Material: Thick enameled and varnished stoneware Condition: Excellent vintage condition, no chips or cracks
