This set consists of two decorative catchalls, made in India. Crafted from copper or brass with a cloisonné enamel finish, these objects stand out for their original fruit-inspired shapes. One takes the form of a pineapple and the other that of an apple, bringing a touch of exoticism and fantasy. Each piece is shaped from gilded metal and adorned with colorful fruit motifs using the cloisonné technique, where metal compartments are filled with vitrified enamel. The color palette is rich and varied, including shades of red, green, purple, and yellow on a patinated background. These objects bear witness to the artisanal craftsmanship typical of Indian productions from the second half of the 20th century.
