Product description
Here is a set of eight glasses designed by the Swedish designer Bo Borgström for Aseda glassworks.
This series is emblematic of mid-century Scandinavian design, characterized by its two-tone silhouette and thick base containing a controlled air bubble.
Each glass is made of blown glass, with a smoky grey-brown upper part and a sturdy clear glass base. The distinctive technique of the encapsulated air bubble in the base, known as 'bullicante', creates a captivating visual effect and adds weight to each piece.
Produced in Sweden in the 1960s, these glasses reflect the heyday of Scandinavian glass design of that period.
The set is in very good condition.
Ideal for serving liqueurs or digestifs, Whisky, Vodka or simply as water glasses, these glasses will add a touch of Mid-Century elegance to a bar, display cabinet or table.
These collector's items fit perfectly into Scandinavian, vintage or contemporary interiors.
