Product description
Splendid and very complete set of 8 lidded ramekins
(small individual soup tureens, broth bowls or
oval mini-casseroles), manufactured in
Japan during the heart of the modernist period (circa 1970).
This Japandi style table set is crafted
from high-quality, heavy, heat-resistant stoneware.
Each piece is distinguished by its elegant
oval shape coated with a brilliant two-tone glaze,
combining a finely cracked cream base with wide
chocolate brown bands applied freely
on the rim, lid knobs, and the
two small handles.
The base of each ramekin features its official
original "JAPAN" stamp incised or molded under
the glaze. A complete set of great sobriety,
ideal for bringing a warm and retro touch.
