About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
Rare suite of 8 Danish Dining chairs GS60 designed by Arne Wahl Iversen for Glyngøre Stolefabrik, Denmark, from the 1960s. Made of Rio rosewood, they feature a particularly elegant and light line, characteristic of Scandinavian design of this period: slender legs, slightly curved uprights and a sculpturally curved backrest that particularly highlights the wood grain. The seats are made of original braided Danish paper cord.
A remarkable set due to its state of preservation and the fact that a complete suite of eight examples has been preserved.
