Product description
Rare and superb set of 6 vintage advertising low-stemmed glasses (or short-stemmed goblets), specifically produced for the famous Belgian brand Feller, iconic producer of Maitrank d'Arlon during the 1970s / 1980s.
This collector's series is distinguished by its balloon shape, slightly narrowed at the neck, ideal for concentrating the aromas of sweet woodruff, the famous medicinal May plant. The front of each glass is adorned with a superb enameled decoration representing the famous little Arlonais folkloric character dressed in his traditional blue smock, proudly holding his glass raised next to the red "FELLER maitrank" logo.
An essential and highly nostalgic regional bar set, perfect for serving the local chilled aperitif with an orange slice or for enhancing a collector's bistro display cabinet.
Features:
• Brand: Feller (Maitrank d'Arlon, Belgium)
• Theme: Arlonais folkloric character in blue smock
• Edition: Set of 6 assorted pieces
• Period: Circa 1975-1985
• Dimensions: Height 9.5 cm | Diameter at neck 7.5 cm
• Condition: Splendid vintage condition. The glass has very good transparency and the enamels of both the logo and the character are intact.
