Set of six chairs designed by Charles & Ray Eames, consisting of original Herman Miller fiberglass shells, dating from the late 1950s.
The lot includes three pairs of colors:
2 parchment
2 light ocher
2 black
The six shells show a beautiful period patina, with the characteristic nuances and marbled effects of old fiberglass.
They are mounted on DSW walnut wood bases, of contemporary manufacture (non-original re-editions).
The shells are in good general condition given their age. One of them has a small resin repair, to be noted and visible in the photograph.
Presence of Herman Miller labels and markings to document their origin and age.
