Product description
Iconic set of 5 Rhine wine glasses (Roemer style
or Römer), produced in France by the Arc group
International (Luminarc / Arcoroc) during the
1970s / 1980s.
These emblematic pieces of Alsatian tableware
are distinguished by their round, transparent bowl
and their famous conical stem tinted with
emerald green color, entirely sculpted with horizontal
striations (ringed stem, also called 'beehive'). This
traditional design is intended to insulate Alsatian
or Moselle white wine from the heat of the
hand during tasting.
The beautifully thick molded glass structure
rests on a stable circular base.
Features:
• Manufacturer: Arc France (Luminarc / Arcoroc)
• Model: Traditional Roemer with ringed stem
• Style: Retro Bistro / Alsatian Tableware
• Period: Circa 1975-1985
• Dimensions: Height 13.5 cm | Diameter at rim 8 cm |
Official capacity 25 cl
• Condition: Perfect state of preservation. The glass has
its original translucency and the tinted stems
are impeccably bright.
