Exceptional set of 4 collectible silver-plated coffee / mocha spoons, issued for the famous Brussels Universal Exhibition in 1958 (Expo 58).
This prestigious set brings together four of the most mythical international pavilions, steeped in history and highly sought after by collectors:
1. Thailand Pavilion (SALA): Detailed representation of the traditional Buddhist temple of the era.
2. U.S.S.R. Pavilion: Monumental glass and steel architecture featuring the hammer and sickle.
3. Belgian Congo Pavilion: Asymmetrical modernist structure designed by architect René Binder.
4. Vatican Pavilion (Civitas Dei): Futuristic silhouette of the immense church of the City of God.
Each spoon bears its inscription engraved in relief: THAILAND 1958, U.S.S.R. 1958, CONGO 1958 and CIVITAS DEI 1958.
A rare and complete thematic set, ideal for perfecting a demanding Atomic Age collection.
