Product description
Rare and very pop set of 4 ice cream bowls (or
dessert ramekins on a pedestal) in art ceramic,
produced by the famous German manufacturer
PAN Keramik in the heart of the 1970s.
This series, highly sought after by lovers
of Fat Lava and Space Age design, is
distinguished by its futuristic sculptural line, evoking
the shape of a diabolo or a saucer.
Each cup features an enameled glaze of an incandescent
coral red or lava red with an absolute mirror
shine, highlighted by a dark rim at the
neck and on the base.
The wide chalice shape (12.5 cm in diameter) and the
flared base make them serving pieces that are as
stable as they are graphic. A striking West German
production to illuminate a retro table or
join a collection of art ceramics.
Features:
• Manufacturer: PAN Keramik (West Germany)
• Style: Space Age / Pop Art / Fat Lava
• Era: 1970s
• Dimensions: Height 7 cm | Diameter 12.5 cm
• Condition: Splendid vintage condition.
The red enamel has remarkable freshness and shine,
a tiny original enamel chip barely visible on one rim.
