Product description
This set includes eleven wall lamps designed by Japanese designer Motoko Ishii for the German manufacturer Staff Leuchten. These pieces are emblematic of the 1970s Space Age aesthetic, characterized by bold geometric shapes and the use of modern materials.
Each lamp consists of an octagonal chrome-plated plastic base that supports a faceted transparent glass shade, reminiscent of a cut diamond. This design not only protects the bulb but also diffuses light uniquely, creating reflections and plays of shadow. The silver finish of the chrome, combined with the transparency of the glass, gives these luminaires a discreet yet sophisticated presence.
The set is presented in excellent condition, showing particular care. The chrome surfaces retain their original luster, and the glass shades are intact. The availability of such a large lot is notable, offering a rare opportunity to create a coherent and extensive lighting installation.
These lamps integrate perfectly into Mid-Century Modern, Space Age, or contemporary interiors. They can be used individually as bedside or desk lamps, or grouped to form a wall composition or spectacular accent lighting in a living room or hallway.
