Product description
This refined lot of antique or vintage Japanese ceramics embodies the rich tradition of Asian export art. The collection, consisting of a teapot, an elegant bowl, a rectangular dish, and two miniature vases, stands out for its detailed hand-painted decorations and the abundant use of gold-colored accents. The collection varies from old to modern ceramics and contains ten different styles. The collection also includes Satsuma ceramics. Crafted from high-quality ceramic and porcelain, each piece in this set displays traditional Japanese scenes with figures in traditional dress, surrounded by floral motifs and bamboo. The multicolored palette is enhanced by the rich, gold-colored frames and borders, characteristic of the classic oriental style of the twentieth century. The variation in shapes makes this a versatile and decorative collection. The set is in good, authentic condition. The ceramics have developed a charming patina over the years, with the original finish and the vibrancy of the colors largely preserved. This collection comes into its own perfectly in a classic or eclectic interior. Presented in a display cabinet or as a striking ensemble on a dresser.
