Product description
This earthenware, with its great graphic rigor, embodies
the modernist renewal of tableware instilled
by the Longwy manufacture. Designed under the stylistic
influence of Maurice Paul Chevallier, the "Betty" model
breaks with traditional naturalism to impose pure
geometric lines. The structure stands out with a molded
relief bottom with a basketry effect, designed to isolate
and drain asparagus, while the greige glaze is combined
with a frieze of hand-painted circular pastilles on the
handles in moss green and umber brown tones.
A utilitarian piece of character that brings a historical
signature and real added value to a contemporary table.
