With the Ericofon, LM Ericsson from Sweden made a big step forward in the field of telephone design. With the arrival of new materials after the 2nd World War, it became possible to make the telephone small, light and therefore user-friendly. In the late 1940s, under the leadership of Gösta Thames, a team is formed with Hugo Blomberg and Ralph Lysell to design a new telephone. This resulted in 1954 in the Ericofoon which was originally intended for institutional use, but it soon became apparent that the one-piece design was very welcome, especially for hospitals, which became major customers. Later, in 1956, sales for home use started. Grown into an unparalleled design item, the Cobra is still collected worldwide to this day, with the red most appealing to the imagination. The offered Cobra is in a very nice and well-working condition and has a new rubber edge and is free of scratches or tears. The text "POST OFFICE PROPERTY" makes this Cobra unique, I've never come across that before
