Product description
This object is a vintage mid-century modern glass vase, most likely by the Finnish design brand Iittala or the Swedish glass factory Åseda Glassbruk (designed by Bo Borgström).
Design characteristics
Shape: An organic, hourglass-shaped silhouette with a characteristic, asymmetrically angled neck/collar at the top.
Color: Vibrant and deep cobalt blue or navy blue transparent glass.
Technique: Mouth-blown glasswork with a solid, thick clear glass base, characteristic of Scandinavian glass art design from the 1960s and 70s.
