A small table piece that alone encapsulates the particular elegance of Limoges porcelain from the interwar period. A refined form, color, a few touches of gold, and above all, a great deal of lightness. The gently waisted body is enlivened by fine vertical fluting that catches the light and adds movement to the porcelain's whiteness. The finely sculpted handle ends in an elegant scroll, while the spout extends with an almost theatrical curve. These geometric lines help place the piece around the years , still largely marked by Art Deco influence. It's the floral decor that immediately catches the eye. A large purple tulip with hues of old rose is accompanied by small blue and cream flowers and delicate foliage. The painter left a lot of white space around the bouquet, which gives it all its freshness. Fine gilded accents follow the rim, the handle, and the base with just the right touch of elegance. This milk jug can naturally find its place on a table, but it is almost even more charming with a few small flowers, placed on a dressing table, a bedside table, or a console table. A lovely piece of Limoges porcelain, elegant without being ostentatious, and perfectly representative of French taste from the interwar period. Height approximately 13 cm.
