Unlike the standard glossy black versions from the period, this Special Limited Edition features a refined satin matte lacquer finish and comes complete with the original Cassina label and blue “Special Limited Edition” marking — a configuration seldom seen on the market. Architectural Simplicity, Exceptional Modularity Originally designed in the 1960s — a period of optimism and experimentation in Italian design — the 780 model exemplifies absolute functionality. Four perfectly proportioned round tables stack neatly into a compact sculptural column or unfold into a rhythmic modular arrangement. Each piece is constructed from lacquered beechwood with a reversible laminated top: black on one side, and lacquered white on the reverse. The contrast is subtle yet impactful, ideal for dynamic styling.
