Product description
Sculpture in ceramic and polychrome terracotta on a black metal base Both sculptures rotate independently in different positions. On the metal base is her nameplate Height 85 cm Width 52 cm Depth 15 cm Liliane Caumont With a literary and philosophical education, she began modeling in 1972 in Madrid with the painter-sculptor Julio Antonio Ortiz. From then on, she never stopped working and in 1977 opened her first workshop in Madrid, which became a space for creation and learning. There she developed her knowledge of the chemistry of enamel and won numerous awards. She searched for new materials and began working in resin and bronze, which allowed her to create works for public spaces. Since returning to France, she has used bronze as her final material, even though the starting point remains earth. Artistic approach I am deeply humanistic and what has driven me for almost fifty years is to express feelings through my works. Women have been the heart of my inspiration. Every stage of life means new learning and this includes knowing how to translate the many facets of the female soul from tenderness, solitude, passion, strength and her position in the world. I also worked for companies in Spain creating murals and created numerous trophies for women's and medical associations. Currently, my greatest desire is to create monumental pieces for gardens and public spaces by mixing iron, bronze and glass.
