Product description
Ligne Roset “Zen” Lounger – Sculptural Design Object in Black Leather
For sale is a true design classic from the 1980s: the “Zen” lounge chair, designed by Claude Brisson for Ligne Roset in 1986.
This chair is far more than just a piece of furniture – it is a statement of modern French design, captivating with its flowing, almost sculptural form.
The combination of a striking black steel frame and high-quality black genuine leather upholstery lends the piece a timeless elegance that blends perfectly into minimalist or postmodern interior styles.
Despite its artistic appearance, the chair offers exceptional comfort thanks to its ergonomically curved contours and comfortable seat height of 40 cm. With a width of 75 cm and an impressive overall height of 105 cm (seat height 40 cm), the chair makes a striking presence in the room without sacrificing lightness. The 70 cm depth also provides ideal space for relaxation.
The matching leather cushion, which is not shown in the photos, is also included.
The armchair is in very good vintage condition with a beautiful, authentic patina. There are only age-related scratches on the edges (as seen in the close-up photos).
A rare collector's item for lovers of sophisticated interior design, masterfully combining design history and comfort.
