A striking vintage sofa by Ligne Roset featuring a bold combination of red smooth leather and a solid, black-painted wooden frame. The design is largely defined by the exposed frame construction. The wide, straight wooden elements create a strong contrast to the softly upholstered seat and back cushions. The generously sized armrests and the visible frame construction on the back lend the sofa a distinctive, architectural presence. The generous upholstery is fully covered in red smooth leather. The leather displays a pronounced patina, developed through use, with creases and variations in color that underscore the sofa's vintage character. The combination of vibrant red and black wood creates a striking contrast in both material and color. Condition: Used vintage condition with significant signs of age. The leather exhibits creases, abrasions, superficial wear, and areas of more pronounced wear. There is a noticeable tear in the leather on one part of the seat.
