The Lightyears (Fritz Hansen) Kaiser Idell 6631 Luxus Table Lamp was designed by Christian Dell in 1931. The Luxus Table Lamp is the first model from the Kaiser Idell series, and was launched in 1936.
The table lamp is finished in high-gloss black. The lamp is made of metal and is characterized by the special shape of the carrier and lampshade. For example, the elements are soldered with silver, a direct reference to Christian Dell's background as a silversmith, then polished and chromed by hand.
