About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a detailed sculpture of a reclining dog, executed in cast brass. The statue displays a realistic representation of the animal, with great attention to the texture of the fur and the anatomical proportions. The sculpture is crafted from brass and rests on a wooden base, contributing to its classic appearance. The material has a dark, patinated finish that accentuates the details of the casting. The object is unsigned and its exact provenance is unknown. The statue is in good condition and displays an authentic character befitting its age and material. The combination of the brass and the wooden base creates a stable and decorative whole. This object fits well in a classic or eclectic interior. It can serve as a refined accent on a desk, sideboard, or in a bookcase, where it adds a touch of timeless elegance to the room.
