Product description
A ladder from the late 19th century from France. The Oriental style was popular during this period. These ladders were skillfully turned by a cabinetmaker from beech wood, but designed to resemble bamboo. They were primarily intended for private libraries to reach the top shelf. On this ladder, the handle for hooking it is missing, but the holes are still present on the back. It is very sturdy. Great for your own bookcase, as decoration, or even as a towel rack. Height: 201 cm. Width at top: 29 cm. Width at bottom: 34 cm. It has 7 rungs. The ladder has small holes on the back; this falls under signs of wear, which I am required to record on this site.
