About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is the Katerina P wall light, a design by Swedish architect and designer Thomas Sandell for the Italian lighting manufacturer Leucos. The design is characterized by its sculptural form and the use of traditional Murano glass. The Katerina P is a refined example of how classic craftsmanship and modern design come together in an elegant lighting object.
The lampshade is made of hand-blown, white opal Murano glass with a pleated structure that provides diffuse and atmospheric light. The structure creates a dynamic interplay of light and shadow, even when the lamp is not lit. The fixture is mounted on a white lacquered metal wall plate and is equipped with an E27 fitting, suitable for a light source up to 100 watts.
The overall condition of this wall light is excellent, retaining the original finish and structure of the glass. The piece shows no significant signs of wear and the electrical components are intact. The clarity and the impeccable white color of the glass testify to careful use and maintenance over time.
With its timeless aesthetic, the Katerina P wall light fits seamlessly into various interior styles, from modern and minimalist to more classic or eclectic. The lamp functions excellently as ambient lighting in a living room, hallway, or bedroom and adds a touch of Italian elegance to the space.
