About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
The Les Arcs chair, designed by Charlotte Perriand, is an iconic piece from the Mid Century Modern period. This design is known for its minimalist and functional aesthetic, making it a highly sought-after object for lovers of authentic design.
The chair is crafted with a frame of chromed tubular steel, providing a sturdy and elegant base. The seat and backrest are made of black saddle leather, which is attached to the frame with striking stitching and rivets. The reverse side of the leather displays the natural suede texture in a warm brown shade, complete with the original 'Vera Pelle' label confirming the authenticity of the material.
The object is in good condition, commensurate with its age and use. The leather has developed a beautiful patina that contributes to the character of the chair, while the chrome frame has retained its shine.
This chair looks excellent in a modern or industrial interior. It is a versatile piece of furniture that can serve as both a dining chair and a striking accent in a living space.
