Product description
Discover Leonor Fini's captivating work, "Three Women," created around 1970. This enchanting lithograph illustrates the artist's dreamlike and mysterious world, where three female figures meet in a scene that is both intriguing and poetic. - **Artistic Expression:** A perfect example of Surrealism, this work embodies Fini's rich and complex imagination. - **Visual Details:** Soft colors and fluid forms create a dreamy and enigmatic atmosphere. - **Meaning:** Each figure seems to tell a story, inviting the viewer to explore themes of identity and mystery. Add this unique piece to your collection to enrich your space with a touch of mystery and elegance. This rare print is signed and numbered by hand by the Surrealist artist Leonor Fini, who is increasingly appreciated as part of the movement to rediscover women artists. Dimensions: approximately 67.5 x 50 cm. Leonor Fini was a key figure in the Surrealist movement, along with Leonora Carrington, Remedios Varo, Jacqueline Lamba, and Claude Lalanne. Many consider her the most fiercely independent female artist of the 20th century. By the age of 17, she had already become familiar with Renaissance art and Mannerist painting. In 1931, at just 24, Fini moved to Paris and met the influential artists Giorgio de Chirico and Carlo Carrà. She also met Surrealist pioneer Max Ernst, with whom she began a romantic relationship and who introduced her to other members of the movement. Her work and flamboyant personality attracted the attention of many of the 20th century's most celebrated artists and thinkers, including Salvador Dalí, Jean Cocteau, Albert Camus, and Jean Genet, to name just a few. She exhibited her work in numerous Parisian art galleries, including that of Christian Dior before the fashion icon became a designer.
