Product description
This original lithograph is the work of the Surrealist artist Leonor Fini, a major figure in 20th-century art. Entitled "Cats," this piece illustrates the artist's passion for felines, a recurring theme in her poetic and dreamlike world.
Created on Rives paper around 1970, this work is an artist's proof (E.A.), hand-signed by Leonor Fini. The composition depicts a group of cats with piercing gazes, rendered with a masterful lithographic technique that plays on the contrasts of black, white, and blue. The sheet measures 74 cm high by 53 cm wide.
The work is in excellent condition, a testament to the care lavished on this artist's proof over the decades. The colors retain their intensity, and the Rives paper maintains its structural integrity.
This lithograph fits perfectly into a surrealist or modern art collection. It brings a touch of mystery and elegance to a contemporary or classic interior, blending easily with refined decorative elements.
