In a stunning, high-quality fabric by Kvadrat Vanir.
Vanir is a custom-made and stylish wool textile, inspired by historical wool military coats. It is crafted using a precise technique that produces a dense yet soft felt with subtle, yet clearly visible color accents from the bouclé yarn. The shorn surface is smooth and soft, lending a dignified elegance to the upholstery. Vanir is an evolution of Raf Simons' fascination with translating the subtle color scheme and texture of a classic fashion textile into a fabric suitable for furniture. Simons deliberately kept the color palette subdued with earthy base tones reminiscent of a classic tweed fabric, and combined these with fresh colors in unexpected combinations. The density of the fabric and the subtle accents add extra depth to classic neutral shades such as anthracite, dark brown, stone, and natural wool.
