Product description
This is a Solymi armchair, an expressive piece of seating from the Dutch design house Leolux. The chair is defined by its bold, sculptural form and vibrant colourway, making it a notable example of late 20th-century European furniture design. The armchair is upholstered in a striking red leather, which covers the entirety of the seat and backrest. The design features characteristic ruched detailing along the back, adding texture and visual interest. The entire structure is supported by a slender, gracefully curved frame made of polished chrome, which extends into four discreet feet. The separate, adjustable headrest provides enhanced comfort and a dynamic profile. This piece has been well-cared-for and remains in good condition, showing character consistent with its age and history. The leather upholstery is supple and retains its deep, saturated colour. Also the chrome base is in perfect state. The overall presentation is that of a preserved vintage item. With its confident design and eye-catching hue, the Solymi armchair serves as an excellent focal point in a contemporary or eclectic living space. It can function as a standalone statement piece or be paired with minimalist furniture to create a dynamic contrast. — We verkopen onze Leolux Solymi fauteuil in rood leer.
