Figurative painter of landscapes, still lifes, portraits, and seascapes. A versatile artist, he is also a sculptor and ceramist. He studied at the Saint-Jean Academy in Molenbeek, the Saint-Lycas Academy in Schaerbeek, and the Academy of Brussels. Lecturer at the Saint-Gilles Academy from 1932 to 1968.
