Saddle leather and brass
As is
A brass-rimmed glass disc, covered in saddle leather with colored topstitching, suspended by a strap that passes through an apparent loop and descends along the wall.
Director of the Compagnie des Arts Français from 1928 to 1959, Jacques Adnet developed from the 1950s a whole vocabulary of metal covered in saddle-stitched leather, created with the Hermès workshops: side tables, lamps, magazine racks, Mirrors.
The leather bears the patina of its age; the piece is sold as is.
