This elephant was designed and manufactured by Deru in Germany in the 60s. At the time, DERU launched a whole range of leather animals. Today, because of their stylized appearance, they have become highly sought-after and collectible. This is an origami elephant folded from a single piece of leather, cleverly shaped and sewn by hand. Beautiful condition and patina in keeping with the object's age. Dimension cm: H14*W18*L7. Ref: 1652
