Product description
The Børge Mogensen 2204 Wing Chair, produced by Fredericia, is an iconic design in Danish design history. This armchair combines a robust form language with a refined finish, resulting in a timeless piece of furniture that is appreciated worldwide.
The chair is crafted with a solid wood frame and is fully upholstered in high-quality cognac brown leather. The design is characterized by the high backrest and the distinctive 'wings', which provide a secure seating experience. The clean lines and the use of natural materials are typical of the Scandinavian design tradition of the sixties and seventies.
This armchair is in good vintage condition, with the leather having developed character and a rich patina that bears witness to years of use. There is a tear in the back cushion section. That cushion should be repaired or reupholstered. The construction is sturdy, and the furniture retains its original character and functionality. This design comes into its own perfectly in a classic or modern interior, for example as a reading chair in a library or as a striking element in a living room.
