Alain Le Foll (1935–1988) was a renowned French artist and commercial designer. A talented boy, he entered the art academy in Caen at the age of 11. After school, he interned at various studios, where he further developed his drawing and painting skills. He illustrated magazines, journals, and books. In 1964, he began teaching at the prestigious École nationale des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. From 1963 until his death in 1985, he worked as a designer for Rosenthal.
He was passionate about graphic design, and his engravings were exhibited throughout Europe and the United States. His work was featured at all major graphic arts events.
