Product description
A fine earthenware cake service from Laveno, Italy, comprising one platter and twelve dessert plates. The decoration is in the English style, featuring a blue monochrome design of abundant, blooming flowers around the rim and an oriental landscape (junks and pagodas) in the center. One of the plates has a different central motif: ships in front of a port (Venice, Genoa?). In excellent condition: no damage, only minor and rare signs of use (a few fine, short, superficial scratches, visible against the light).
