Superb old religious panel with a Neo-Gothic Eucharistic decoration, featuring a particularly rich and elegant composition centered around the IHS monogram, the chalice, and the radiant host. This piece incorporates several emblematic passages from traditional Catholic liturgy in Latin in a layout inspired by ancient illuminated manuscripts, with decorated initial letters, floral ornaments, and magnificent gilded effects. The ensemble exudes a rare visual presence and a true period atmosphere, evoking the old sacristies, private chapels, confessional schools, or bourgeois residences of the late 19th century. Old polychrome print with gilding, period-mounted on a rigid wooden panel approximately 4 mm thick. Approximate dimensions: width approximately 36/37 cm, height approximately 28/30 cm. The colors, gilding, and details remain particularly expressive despite the passing decades. The piece retains some marks of age and use, which fully contribute to its authenticity and charm.
