Classic relief plaque in a gold-colored frame. Originating from England. Late 20th century. Subject: "The Entry of Alexander the Great into Babylon," inspired by the famous frieze by Bertel Thorvaldsen. Alexander the Great (356-323 BC) was a famous Greek military commander and ruler. At the age of thirty, he ruled over one of the largest empires in world history. That empire stretched from the Danube River to the Himalayas near India and Tibet. Wedgewood Jasperware style in a blue and white color combination. Made of a type of hard plaster. Dimensions: 98L x 52H x 5D
