Product description
This set is a traditional Christmas nativity scene of Italian origin, dating from the mid-20th century. The scene depicts the Nativity with a complete set of ten hand-painted plaster figurines, embodying the charm of period decorations.
The stable structure, 50 cm wide, is made of light wood and natural bark, with a moss-covered floor for a rustic look. The ten figurines include the Holy Family, the three Magi, a donkey, an ox, a sheep, and an angel. Each figurine is stamped "MADE IN ITALY" on its base, confirming its Italian production during the 1950s or 1960s.
The set is in good general condition, showing a patina and signs of wear that bear witness to its history and use over the decades. The hand-painted colors on the plaster figurines retain their distinctive character, although showing signs of time that add to their authenticity. Please note that the golden garland visible in some photos is not included.
This vintage nativity scene is a centerpiece for traditional holiday decoration. It will find its perfect place on a fireplace, a console, or a sideboard, bringing a touch of nostalgia and craftsmanship to an interior during the Christmas season.
