✨✨RARE! Superb and imposing ceramic vase by Robert Picault, Vallauris, dating from the 1960s, FRANCE.
Geometric designs typical of this ceramist's work.
Signed with the monogram RP on the base.
Note: an original glaze flaw and a tiny crack on the inside, not visible from the outside (see photos).
Robert Picault (1919-2000) contributed to the revival of ceramics, updating traditional local forms decorated with geometric lines and designs. His distinctive style enjoyed great success alongside Picasso and Matisse.
