This is an original teak desk top by the Dutch brand Tomado, an iconic name within 20th-century Dutch Design. The design is characterized by the clean lines and functional aesthetic typical of the post-war modernist movement in the Netherlands. Condition: very good considering its age! There are no chips in the wood. The top is crafted from teak, resulting in a warm, brown tone and a clear, natural wood grain. At the ends, it is fitted with characteristic black metal mounting brackets, allowing it to be seamlessly integrated into an existing Tomado wall system. The combination of the warm wood and the industrial black metal reflects the minimalist design language of that period. The desk top is in good condition, commensurate with its age and previous use. The original finish and patina of the teak have been preserved, contributing to the authentic vintage character of the piece of furniture.
