Studio glass bowl/centerpiece by Romanian master glass maker Mihai Topescu, circa 1980, signed by the artist.
Mihai Topescu (Ticlenie, 1956) is an important glass artist; on the other hand, he often uses other materials too, such as metal, wood, stone, their combinations succeeding in bringing more expressiveness to glass itself and underlining the sculptural qualities of the pieces.
