Product description
Large glazed stoneware pitcher, produced by the La Colombe workshop of Madeleine Brault (Orriule, Pyrénées-Atlantiques). Typical tachiste decoration of the workshop: khaki/brown-black drips and splashes on a satiny beige background, base in raw red-brown clay. Dove stamp impressed under the base. No defects, cracks, or chips. The interior shows signs of use (coffee stains), which do not affect the piece's sturdiness.
