Product description
Very beautiful large oval silver-plated metal tray from the house of Alexandre Gelb, silversmith in Paris, square hallmark on an inner side "AG". Vintage, second half of the 20th century, 1960s-1970s. Richly worked model with an openwork edge and a bottom entirely decorated with foliage, flowers and arabesques in relief, with a central reserve left blank for a possible monogram. Very high quality of execution, ideal for serving, as a centerpiece or for decoration.
47cm length, 33cm width, 4.2cm height. Very good general condition, some discreet traces of oxidation, light patina inside and more on the reverse, to note a patina of fine cleaning scratches more or less visible. Approximately 700 to 1000gr.
