Vintage table lamp base with a sculptural tripod base in mahogany brown stained wood, graphic and architectural. The body is composed of large openwork fins with lines evoking a compass base, arranged around a central cylindrical core. This light and very well-designed construction is part of the modernist design vocabulary of the 1960s-70s, with an aesthetic that is both organic and geometric. The lamp has been rewired and is ready for use. It is offered without a lampshade, to allow the buyer to choose a model adapted to their interior. A cylindrical lampshade of good size, ivory or ecru, suits it particularly well (see the example offered in the gallery).
