About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
This large shell-shaped dish or tureen made of white porcelain represents an elegant example of vintage Italian design, dating back to the 1960s. Its marine inspiration and sculptural profile reflect the decorative trends of mid-century modern design from the period, combining naturalistic charm with a sinuous and striking line. The outer surface is molded with subtle raised grooves that reproduce the texture of a shell, completed by a shaped handle. The object shows a visible previous repair along the rim, a detail that attests to its history and authenticity over time. Perfect for display as a centerpiece, this collectible vintage piece offers an opportunity to enhance interiors with character. Measurements: Width 40.5 cm, Depth 42 cm, Height 20.5 cm
