Painted cityscape of New York, with the Manhattan skyline as its subject. The Chrysler Building and the Brooklyn Bridge can be found in the painting. Surrounding them are numerous high-rise buildings, depicted with various facades and architectural styles characteristic of New York's cityscape.
The painting is not an exact representation, but an artistic interpretation of the skyline. The painter has brought together various recognizable elements of New York and given them their own image and atmosphere.
