Beautiful large orange fat lava vase, by Carstens, West Germany, 1960s-1970s, numbered 7315-45 at the bottom.
West Germany was actually a collective name for ceramics that came onto the market roughly between 1950 and 1990. Some well-known names are Roth, Carstens, Ruscha, Jopeko, Jasba, Fohr, but the biggest were perhaps Scheurich and Bay.
