Product description
Substantial pendant light, produced by the German firm Cosack Leuchten in the 1960s or 70s, is defined by its impressive scale and pure form. The shade is crafted from high-quality, mold-blown opaline glass, featuring a voluminous, bulbous silhouette that tapers into a polished chrome metal cap. The satin white glass diffuses light evenly, creating a soft, ambient glow while directing functional light downwards through the open rim. The minimalist chrome fitting provides a sharp, industrial contrast to the soft organic curve of the glass. Its large size makes it a commanding presence in a room. Provides bright, diffuse ambient lighting and direct downlight, ideal for high ceilings, stairwells, or suspended low over a dining table. Good vintage condition. The glass is in perfect condition. The chrome metal cap has a very small dent consistent with age. Contact us for additional images or to schedule a viewing at our Antwerp space.
