Product description
Turtle-shaped serving dish, in mustard yellow glazed earthenware, molded, from around the 1950s-1970s. The shell with raised plates serves as a tray for aperitifs, cheeses or cold cuts, and the hollow head acts as a cup for a sauce or olive pits. Unsigned, in the spirit of French barbotine/majolica. In good vintage condition. Age-appropriate enamel crazing, some small enamel chips on the edge, a slight light area on the edge of the shell (see photos). No significant missing parts. Enamelled interior and light paste visible on the unglazed edge. Unmarked piece and unidentified manufacturer. Dimensions: 36 x 20.5 x 3.5 cm. Careful packaging.
