Product description
Large gilded metal sun wall mirror, Italy, vintage 1960s-1970s. Structure in cut and embossed sheet metal forming a radiating decor of stylized leaves, gilded metal probably with gold leaf, with original central mirror. Total diameter 65 cm, 28.5 cm mirror alone, depth approximately 12-13 cm. Good general condition. The mirror shows some slight alterations in the silvering as well as a small chip on the edge, hidden by the frame, therefore barely visible. The back consists of a cork panel held by slightly loose metal tabs but holds, with a hanging ring present at the back. Note the patina of the metal, degilding and oxidation consistent with age and an aesthetic aged appearance. Approximately 1kg.
